- Cut / raw edge — tulle simply cut, with no finish. Invisible and modern; tulle does not fray.毛边 / 直切边——薄纱直接裁切，不做收边。几乎看不见，很现代；薄纱本身不会脱线。
- Pencil edge — a fine stitched or corded edge. A thin, neat line that suits almost any dress.细线包边——细密的锁边或细绳边。一条纤细整齐的线，几乎适合所有婚纱。
- Satin ribbon edge — a ribbon band around the veil. Graphic and classic; best with satin or mikado gowns.缎带包边——头纱一圈缎带。线条感强、经典，最适合缎面或米卡多婚纱。
- Lace edge — a band of lace along the hem or the whole outline. Frames the face and the train.蕾丝边——下摆或整圈缀有蕾丝，能框出脸庞和拖尾。

Lace all the way round frames your face as well as the train; it is the mantilla look. Lace only at the hem keeps the face clear and puts the detail on the floor, where it shows in photos from behind.整圈蕾丝既框住脸庞也勾勒拖尾，这就是曼蒂拉的样子。只在下摆有蕾丝，则让脸部保持清爽，把细节留在地面，在背影照中格外好看。
